All the cities in Montenegro have their colors. Red is the color defenetly belonging to Kastel  Lastva  or the  venetian  Castio,  who foght for it’s freedom under the red flag. Kastel Lastva also has the only red beach on the coast. Some would say  that this is coincidence,  but this is the place where the nature is identifying  with the history.
The centre of old Pastrovic people and, in the  past, a big market harbor.  Today, unfortunately,  only one part of the castle which used to be a quarantine, remained.

This quarantine was for sailors who stayed there for 40 days in order to prevent citizens infect by diseases brought by sailors, from different parts of the world. But the eminences don’t  stop here, we also need to mention two  islands  St. Nedelja and Katic which even nowdays  watchfully  defend Petrovac.

Today Petrovac is little place of about 2 000 citizens offering rich history and beautiful places for relaxation under olive trees, attractive to young population as well, with modern night clubs, discos, bars, but also to older population with quiet and beautiful  places along the coast.
