Ulcinj is one of the oldest towns in our coast. The old town Ulcinj is the southest  city in our country and it is souronded with old walls and towers. Around the kernel  of the old town Ulcinj was developed in the  bay of the little beach. A pair kilometers south from Ulcinj is a 13 kilometers long sandy  beach   which streaches till the mouth of the river Bojana , from where it continues 2.7 kilometers on Ada Bojana till the Montenegro-Albanian  boarder.

The ancient Kolhidium  was build 3000 years ago  and  got it`s name by the Kolhidian people who camed   from the  Black see. During it`s rich history, Ulcinj had been conqured by Illirs, Romans, Vizants,  Doekleids, Mlecans. The Turkish empire had the largest influence the town. Turks  ruled with Ulcinj for  many years and they a hard pirates base on the Adria.

Many civilizations passed through this town  and left their cultural and architectonic marks on it`s streets and building. Today  Ulcinj is a mixture of all this  cultures  in a modern time and modern lifestyle.
